ellaOne is an emergency contraceptive pill intended to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse or failure of a regular method of contraception. ellaOne should be taken as soon as possible, but no later than 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected intercourse or failure of a regular method of contraception. ellaOne is for women of reproductive age who want to avoid unwanted pregnancy.

ellaOne is not regular contraception. ellaOne is for temporary use only. ellaOne does not cause abortion. ellaOne cannot terminate an existing pregnancy. ellaOne does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases.

Ulipristal Acetate

30 mg

1 tablet should be taken orally as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse or failure of a contraceptive method. If vomiting occurs within 3 hours of using ellaOne, another tablet should be taken. ellaOne can be requested at any time of the menstrual cycle.
